Jake Kiszka of Greta Van Fleet plays a 1961 Gibson Les Paul (SG). This specific model is known for its double cut-away design, which is what technically makes it a Les Paul.
This miniature replica also honors the legacy of Gibson electric guitars played by George Harrison and Eric Clapton. This model year was clearly a standout for SGs in general. The clunky side-pull vibrato had been replaced by the dependable Maestro Vibrola. The neck profiles had increased in size resembling the profile found on 1959 Les Pauls.
